Venish Rakholia ("we", "our", or "us") built the Photo Compressor & Image Resizer app ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We try to keep data collection limited. The App processes your photos on your device, and we do not intentionally collect the contents of your photos unless you choose to share them through your device or a third-party service.

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect or receive the following information:

• App usage data such as screens viewed, taps, feature usage, and basic analytics events.
• Device and app information such as device model, operating system version, app version, and app instance identifiers.
• Advertising-related data such as advertising identifiers, IP address, ad views, and ad interactions, where permitted by your device settings and consent choices.
• Purchase and subscription information such as subscription status, product identifier, purchase history, and receipt-related information.
• Support communications if you contact us by email.

We do not require you to create an account to use the App.

• apply Remote Config settings and feature flags;

3. Analytics and Remote Config

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config to understand how the App is used and to remotely control certain app settings.

Firebase Analytics may collect usage data, device/app information, and app-instance identifiers. Firebase Remote Config may receive app/device-related identifiers and configuration fetch information needed to deliver settings to the App.

4. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to show advertisements in the App.

AdMob may collect and process information such as:

• advertising identifiers;
• IP address;
• device information;
• app interactions with ads; and
• consent and ad personalization signals, where applicable.

Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your settings, region, and consent choices.

5. Purchases and Subscriptions

We use RevenueCat and Apple’s in-app purchase system to manage subscriptions and restore purchases.

RevenueCat and Apple may process information related to:

• purchase history;
• subscription status;
• product identifiers;
• transaction and receipt data; and
• device or app identifiers used for purchase validation.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the App, including:

• Apple for App Store distribution and in-app purchases;
• Google Firebase for analytics and remote configuration;
• Google AdMob for advertising; and
• RevenueCat for subscription management and restore purchases.

These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including:

• operating the App;
• maintaining analytics and ad settings;
• managing subscriptions;
• complying with legal obligations; and
• resolving disputes or enforcing agreements.

The exact retention period depends on the type of information and the service involved. Some third-party providers may retain data according to their own policies.

• App Tracking Transparency permissions;
• advertising settings;
• analytics preferences, where supported by the platform; and
• notification or photo permissions.

You may also stop using the App at any time.

Please include enough information for us to identify the request, such as the email address you used to contact us or your purchase details if applicable. The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
